DRAGONS' Den stars Duvalay are set to disrupt the leisure vehicle market once again with their latest sleep product innovation.
The family-run business, which increased its turnover by more than 75 percent following its BBC TV appearance in 2011, will be introducing its first major change to the award-winning Duvalay luxury sleeping bag and best-selling mattresses since 2013.
"Customers will still be able to buy our first-generation products," says Director Liz Colleran. "But, new for 2017, we are introducing our brand-new cooling foam, FreshTec - a premium alternative to memory foam that not only offers pressure relief and first-class comfort, but also actively fights heat retention. Thanks to its increased airflow properties, it delivers a fresher night's sleep."
FreshTec foam will be the premium choice option in Duvalay Sleeping Bags and Travel Toppers, Custom Toppers and Home Matttess Toppers.
"My husband Alan and I have been trialling FreshTec-infused products in our Swift caravan for months; we simply wouldn’t recommend an upgrade to our loyal customers we hadn’t personally road-tested," adds Liz, who suffers with acute back pain.
"I am absolutely thrilled with the product, which is designed to hygienically wick away moisture and body heat for a feeling of total freshness. Although it has cooling properties, we’ve felt the benefits even in winter, as have our other testers."
In addition to launching FreshTec, Duvalay have also introduced a new premium option for Duvalite Gravity mattress buyers. The Duvalite Gravity Luxe mattress contains channel cut foam to help to reduce heat build-up for a cooler sleep surface with a fresher feel.
"Even in our budget leisure vehicle mattress range, we wanted to offer a higher-grade product for discerning buyers. I am thrilled to assure customers the Duvalite Apollo Luxe and the Duvalite Gravity Luxe are both still up to 35 percent lighter than most traditional leisure vehicle mattresses, delivering cost savings on fuel consumption."
Since their Dragons' Den appearance, Duvalay have grown their workforce of eight to more than 60 skilled craftsmen and women from Yorkshire.
This year, they opened an additional, brand-new 30,000 square foot factory, located in West Yorkshire.
"Our Hilary Devey Collection of sumptuous mattresses are proving more popular than ever, with more than 30 new retailers coming onboard as official stockists in the past 12 months," says Liz.
"We are proud to be offering customers choice, comfort and support both at home and in their 'home from home'. We look forward to our new Duvalay products impacting on the summer 2017 caravanning and motorhome season in a big way!"
